Chris Karampahtsis, MD, MPH, is a Harvard trained, dually board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist. Currently an adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine, he now brings his wealth of academic and clinical experience to seeing pediatric and adolescent patients at his private practice.”Dr. K,” as many of his patients call him, has worked in a variety clinical settings; serving as Unit Chief for psychiatric inpatient, consult -liaison and emergency room service psychiatrist, and has performed a vast amount of outpatient psychiatric evaluations of all patient populations.
