Description
Child-led. Play-based. Family-focused. At AIM, we focus on Trauma-Assumed, Neurodiversity-Affirming practices by acknowledging that autism isn’t a problem to be cured or solved. Instead, we view each neurotype as a set of strengths and challenges unique to the individual. Our role as behavior specialists is to support the goals of the child and family. We actively work with our families in order to seek out their feedback and incorporate family input into our treatment plans. We strive to ensure that our families feel wholly informed about, and excited by, the services they receive from AIM.
